I am running for reelection to Bellevue City Council! I thank you for your past support and trust in me to serve you as your voice as the most reliable advocate for fiscal responsibility, public safety and community wellbeing.
Bellevue is facing challenges as the nation and our region are going through tremendous change. We have managed better than most. However, we must continue to stay vigilant and be accountable and responsible to the people we are elected to represent. Bellevue will continue to be the “Shining City on the Hill” – a model of a “government of the people, for the people and by the people” of Bellevue. Your support will allow me to continue to fight to uphold that principle, including keeping taxes low, city safe and neighborhoods livable for families and businesses to call Bellevue home.
It will not be easy because social changes and economy remain uncertain, problems and solutions more political and revenue unpredictable. My balanced and common-sense approach and prudent fiscal advocacy on the Council has led the city through past challenges. My reelection will allow me to continue to guide the city through this challenging time without compromising our quality of life.
