Bellevue is a great city. But it takes proven experience, leadership and judgment to keep it that way. I am honored that you have entrusted me to be your elected representative since 1994.

Many people feel alienated from government, and government too often seems unconcerned with the needs of the people.
I believe in unifying people, communicating with people, and engaging people. I believe that government needs to listen to people, the decision-making process must be transparent, and neighborhoods must be involved in the decision-making process.​​
Bellevue consists of a business downtown and small-town feeling with woodsy neighborhood and vast network of green spaces and recreational facilities.
Bellevue has a vibrant culture that is a result of Bellevue’s diverse citizenship. As a city council member, I have been the single most consistent voice for public safety, keeping taxes low, and preserving quality of life.
We share the same values. Together, we have made Bellevue a safe place to live, work, play and raise families. Together, we can work to assure its success for us and for our children.
